Responsibilities:

* Assist in the design and execution of PT sessions for midshipmen candidates
* Track and report on the progress of individual midshipmen candidates, providing targeted interventions for those needing additional support
* Maintain regular communication with the NPP Program Director and Military Resource Center staff about candidate progress and any necessary adjustments to training plans
* Ensure all activities are conducted within Navy safety and physical training guidelines.

Requirements:

* Must meet Navy height and weight standards
* Must be in good standing with the Hampton Roads NROTC Unit
* Must have achieved an Excellent Low or better on the most recent Navy Physical Readiness Test (PRT)
* Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
* Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or willingness to complete certification training prior to start of academic year)
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate midshipmen candidates
* Ability to plan and execute fitness programs tailored to the needs of NPP midshipmen
* Knowledge of Navy physical training protocols and safety guidelines
* Excellent organizational skills to manage training schedules and participant records
* Ability to work collaboratively with other university staff and operate independently when required
* Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality
