Join our Mortgage Team and our commitment to enhancing owner and guest experiences.Summary:Assist the Portfolio Manager with the daily operations of the Mortgage/Collections Department and collect on delinquent accounts to limit collection portfolio losses and delinquencies. Potential bonus incentive for meeting monthly collection goals. Follows directions from the Portfolio Manager and ensures attainment of the Collection Department's goals and objectives while performing the following duties. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Calls past due mortgage accountholders in a consistent and effective way, obtaining payments to bring the accounts' status to currentMaintains accurate records, including paperwork for lendersReduces delinquency, working toward team goalsMust be able to work well with othersCommitted to providing excellent customer service - being both knowledgeable and courteous when speaking with customersPerform any related duties as assigned or as the situation dictatesBenefits:Incentive bonusesPaid VacationPaid Sick LeaveMedical & Dental Insurance401k PlanRequirements: Education/Experience: Must have High School Diploma or GEDMust have at least 1 year of experience in mortgage collectionsProficient knowledge of basic computer skills is required. Software utilized include SPI Timeshare Software and the Microsoft Office programs, including OutlookMust also possess general knowledge of office equipment (computers, copy machines, fax machines, postage machine, etc.) Must possess good written and verbal communication skillsMastery of basic math skills is mandatoryMust be able to adapt and perform in pressure situations, as well as execute a variety of tasks as assigned or as situations dictatePosition Qualifications:To perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each of the above essential duties satisfactorily.
