Tax Preparer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Tax Preparer to assist with tax document processing and client communication.



Key Responsibilities

Process tax documents and prepare various tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 990 series, 1023)
Communicate with clients regarding additional information needed and send completed returns for review
Prepare tax extensions, calculate estimated taxes, and participate in team meetings


Required Qualifications

College graduate or equivalent
At least two years of experience, preferably with a public accounting firm
Knowledge of US tax principles and Internal Revenue Code
Solid understanding of US business entity structuring, particularly S Corporations
Must have a personal computer with a camera and a minimum of 20 mbps internet speed
