Research Engineer Computational Geometry

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Research Engineer, Computational Geometry to conduct and apply research in computer-aided design (CAD) structures and topology for hardware design.



Key Responsibilities

Perform independent data research and analysis relevant to the Geometry Engine capability
Collaborate with the Graphics Engine team to implement topological algorithms
Monitor industry and research trends in computational geometry and geometric modeling


Required Qualifications

BS, MS, and/or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Expertise in CAD structures and topology, including B-rep, CSG, and Euler topology
Experience developing and implementing algorithms in C++ or a similar language
Background in numerical methods and finite element analysis
Experience with data extraction and analysis
