Unified Communications Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Unified Communications Lead Engineer to join their Infrastructure Managed Services Program for the US Coast Guard.



Key Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to elicit and document customer requirements
Design unified communications solutions and create system integration plans
Develop and document test and maintenance plans for unified communication systems


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3-5 years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and 15 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of VoIP, Video Teleconferencing Systems, and integration with Microsoft Teams
Experience transitioning legacy PBX and VTC systems to converged Enterprise VoIP
Familiarity with Session Border Controllers and DoD Integrated Phone System (DIPS)
Experience in a Cisco network environment, including routing, switching, and firewalls
