Senior Data Protection Engineer

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Data Protection Engineer to drive an enterprise-wide data loss prevention program.



Key Responsibilities

Design and build effective DLP policies and rules to protect the organization's data
Support the Data Protection product owner in defining the roadmap and strategy for data loss prevention
Act as a subject matter expert and central point of contact for data loss prevention issues


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security or related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a data loss prevention role
Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS and HIPAA
Demonstrated technical expertise in existing security and IT systems
Experience in developing and managing data loss prevention metrics
