We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager based near Bury St Edmunds, Stanton to work within our Automotive Manufacturing Logistics division.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Define the sites operational potential based on the business strategy and ensure operations are performing to their potential in a simple and sustainable way.
  
• Lead commercial reviews with the customer for growth and renewal and develop customer relationships year-on-year to ensure customer retention and loyalty.
  
• Lead the overall approach to resource planning and management, ensuring direct reports are recruited, assessed, trained, and resources are planned to meet forecasted volumes.
  
• Accountable for the overall multiyear performance of the sites, including achievement of agreed customer KPIs and delivering site budget and financial results.
  
• Lead and participate in Performance Dialogs, Gemba walks, and Town Hall meetings, reinforcing behaviours that align with DHL culture.
  
• Responsible for partnering with local HR Business Partner regarding employee/industrial relations matters.
  
  Minimum Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Previous experience in managing Warehouse and Transport Operations.
    
  • Senior Operations Management/Site Leadership with P&L responsibility.
    
  • Leadership skills and experience in managing several reporting layers.
    
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships and stakeholder management skills.
    
  • A passion for people and customer engagement.
    
  • A can-do attitude towards teamwork and delivering results.
