Job Title: VP, Technology (2403026)Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid Work Model)Job Summary:This Senior Leader in the Technology organization will lead multiple Brokerage Middle and Back Office development teams and create strategic direction. Responsibilities include establishing product roadmap, resource plans, budgets, and overseeing project delivery. This role demands a strong understanding of the firm's different businesses and may require subject matter expertise in specific areas. Extensive contact with Raymond James Senior Management is expected.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an effective workforce strategy including resource management and allocation.
• Deliver enterprise-wide strategic thinking to IT investments to ensure integration.
• Implement effective communication processes to ensure consistent information distribution.
• Coordinate department-wide people processes to drive leadership accountability.
• Work closely with SVP on meeting agendas and executive presentations.
• Influence prioritization of business unit technology projects and manage risk.
• Manage workforce to accurately capture IT resource capacity.
• Partner with senior leaders to assess technology's potential to streamline processes.
• Stay updated on key technology, business, and industry trends.
• Responsible for budget and annual goals; hold organization accountable.Qualifications:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:
  • Back and Middle Office Brokerage Business
  • Software Architecture and Design Principles
  • Distributed and Mainframe TechnologiesSkilled in:
    • Managing implementation of software and systems in a multi-facility environment.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset.
    • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to:
      • Update and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
      • Provide strategic direction for all IT-related activities.
      • Collaborate with senior management to leverage technology opportunities.
      • Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships.
      • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
      • Allocate IT resources effectively to align with project priorities.Education/Previous Experience:
        • B.S. in MIS, Computer Science, or related degree and twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
        • Financial services experience required, focusing on back and middle office operations.
        • Experience in Project Management, Enterprise Implementation, and Application Development.Licenses/Certifications:
