The assistant role is crucial in facilitating the relationship between the doctor and patient, and maintaining efficiency while providing quality care to patients. We are looking for a candidate to become part of our team in providing excellence in oral surgery care for patients. Candidates must be detail-oriented and fast learners. Oral Surgery Assistant Position: --- Full-time or part-time --- Updated office with digital radiography and electronic health records --- Will sponsor training for Advanced Cardiac Life Support Candidate Requirements: --- X-ray safety certification --- CPR training current --- Proficient in electronic health records and software --- Experience with nitrous oxide sedation --- Oral surgery experience an advantage, but not required to apply Duties Include: --- Surgical assisting during a variety of procedures --- Greeting and seating patients --- Thoroughly reviewing health history with patients --- Exposing radiographs, including 2-D and 3-D --- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions --- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize surgical suites --- Taking alginate impressions --- Pouring models --- Sterilization duties Compensation will be based on experience. Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $20 - $25 Hourly Bonus/Commission: Yes
