Job Description:
Position Purpose: Responsible for preparing, conducting, and
evaluating training for corporate programs. Writes literature and
materials to be used in training. Conducts classes for new users
and provides support and follow-on training to existing users.
Manages the use and performance of our Electronic Health Records
system. Primary Duties:
- Remain technically proficient in the functionality of our
Electronic Health Records system.
- Maintain standard operating procedures on the use of our
technology-based systems.
- Create and review technical training programs according to
organizational requirements.
- Assess training needs and certification requirements.
- Update training materials to generate higher productivity and
safety among employees.
- Research training materials that can enhance VersAbility's
training procedures while providing value to employees.
- Identify future training needs and create a curriculum to
facilitate the training.
- Lead programs to assist employees with transitions due to
technology changes.
- Conduct orientation programs and arrange on-the-job training
for new hires.
- Prepare training schedules-- classroom agenda and training
materials-- such as presentations-- worksheets and other reference
materials.
- Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning,
multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional
technologies, simulators, conferences and workshops.
- Manage the training program in accordance with business needs,
regulatory requirements, and Quality Management System.
- Tailor training programs as needed to maximize the
accessibility of VersAbility's technology programs.
- Communicate with leadership and managers to ensure all training
needs are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Skills
Knowledge & Abilities: Education: Degree in a relevant technical
field such as IT; must be willing to pursue additional
certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) within 90
dayExperience: 3+ years' experience of working as a Technical
Trainer or Professional Development position. Credible knowledge is
highly preferred. Skills Knowledge & Abilities:
- Significant experience in designing course content
- Excellent knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in
technical subjects with adult learners
- Good experience of addressing training needs with complete
courses
- Good practical experience with MS Office
- Strong communication skills; must be able to effectively speak
to a classroom of trainees in a manner that results in the
successful transfer of knowledge and technical skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Environmental: Typically, the employee will be standing for periods
of time while training. Occasionally may sit comfortably to do the
work; however, there may be some walking, standing, bending,
carrying of light items such as books, small parts, driving an
automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to
