Job Description:
A company is looking for a Follow Up Associate to investigate
and resolve denial accounts in healthcare billing.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and examine sources of denials using charge master,
coding, and EDI billing knowledge
Collaborate with third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and
prove medical necessity
Submit technical appeals and maintain compliance with HIPAA and
confidentiality requirements
Required Qualifications
High school diploma
Prior experience in healthcare billing and claims preferred
Ability to work successfully in a team setting
Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (ICD-9, CPT) is
advantageous
