Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter (Excess) to evaluate insurance applications and determine coverage and pricing.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze insurance applications to determine risk and pricing
Approve or decline applications and issue coverage based on underwriting guidelines
Collaborate with producers and the underwriting team to achieve production goals

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 5 years of underwriting or related insurance experience
CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software
Strong customer service experience
