We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Configuration
Mgt. (CM) & Requirements Analyst to join our team in Newport News,
VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
configuration management, requirements analysis, and documentation.
This role will involve managing configuration items, maintaining
configuration control, and ensuring that project requirements are
clearly defined, documented, and met.
This position is located in Newport News, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Develop and implement configuration management processes and
procedures to ensure configuration control of all project
artifacts.
Identify, document, and track configuration items (CIs) throughout
the project lifecycle.
Maintain configuration management databases (CMDB) and tools to
track changes and maintain the integrity of CIs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other
stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and refine requirements
in an agile, iterative manner.
Maintain a product backlog of requirements, ensuring clear
acceptance criteria and linking them to relevant design documents
and test cases.
Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices to ensure
all requirements are met and verified.
Conduct configuration audits and reviews to ensure compliance with
established configuration management processes.
Create and maintain documentation for configuration management
processes, requirements, and change control.
Provide training and support to team members on configuration
management and requirements analysis best practices.
Continuously improve configuration management and requirements
analysis processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
US Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance is required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
field.
Proven experience as a Configuration Management Analyst,
Requirements Analyst, or similar role.
Strong understanding of configuration management principles,
processes, and tools.
Experience with requirements analysis and documentation.
Proficiency in configuration management and requirements management
tools (e.g., JIRA, DOORS, ServiceNow).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment.
Experience with IT Service Management Frameworks such as ITIL and
processes such as Change and Release Management
IAT Level II certification is required (e.g. Cloud+, Sec+)
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
Experience working with software development tools such as Azure
DevOps and Git
Working knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines, Containerization, and
Orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with DevSecOps principles and DoD policies related to
the topic
ITIL v3 Expert or v4 Foundations Certifications

reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The
determination of this range includes various factors not limited to
skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and
certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based
performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the
top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is
$69,700.00 - $154,300.00.
